The President's Page...
Welcome fellow HBS Alumni and Club Members!
The Greater Cincinnati area is home to more than 300 HBS Alumni, and as an official member of the Global HBS Network, our club is part of a powerful global online community, giving our members a more robust way of interacting and communicating with the School and with fellow alumni and clubs around the world. Our website will help you stay in touch and access frequently updated and exclusive HBS materials, videos and live events.
As we start a new membership year, the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Cincinnati is well-positioned to help our members make a difference...in their lives, in the businesses and in the broader Cincinnati community. Our growing local alumni constituency represents a cross-section of public, private and non-profit sectors, as well as civic and community organizations.
If you’re new to the area or you have just discovered us, we look forward to having you join us at an upcoming event. Our event programming has successfully focused on learning from and contributing to thought leadership while building personal and professional networks.
We’ll be kicking off our 2011-12 membership year September 9 with a presentation by HBS Professor Robert Steven Kaplan. This “members-only” event will be held at the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland with a focus on the current economic crisis and its implications, through the lens of his new book on leadership.
It’s then on to the HBS Global Networking Night, September 21st, at The Rookwood Bar & Restaurant in historic Mt. Adams.
With very best regards,
Nelson Lees, PMD 43
President, HBS Alumni Club of Cincinnati
